Chapter Seven

He watched the bedroom window from the street and cursed under his breath. Her mates were with her now and from the looks of the silhouettes he could see shadowed on the pulled blinds they were fucking her and probably marking and claiming her.

He’d wanted her from the first time he’d smelled her intoxicating scent before he’d even laid eyes on her, but when he’d seen her he knew he had to have her. At first he thought he would be able to wine and dine her since she hadn’t been with her mates. Of course he’d smelt the faint trace they’d left on her body, but it had been fading. He’d been so angry when she’d refused to have dinner with him. It had taken every ounce of his control not to snarl and snap his teeth at her. He and his wolf had wanted to grab her by the hair and drag her out of her office.

When he’d seen the look in her eyes, she’d tried to hide it, but he’d seen her distaste in her gaze as she’d looked at him, and he had been more determined than ever to have her. No woman had ever looked at him that way, and he wasn’t going to let her get away with it. He was an Alpha, and women usually fell over each other trying to garner his attention. All he had to do was snap his fingers and they came running.

If he planned well and waited for the perfect opportunity he would be able to get to that bitch. He’d had no trouble following her home from work the other night and she’d been totally unaware that he’d shadowed her. If he was able to abduct her he would be killing two birds with one stone. First he would be getting a woman he could use anytime he liked and when he was done with her he would give her to the rest of his pack to use. And he would be getting back at the Sugar Creek Alpha.

He hated Lucien Woolf with a passion, and he would love to see him fall in the eyes of his pack members. Woolf’s pack was a lot bigger than his and Spicer wanted to infiltrate that dog’s land and take over control of his people. If he got hold of Sara he would have someone to negotiate with. Those two assholes inside currently fucking his woman would do anything to get their mate back, maybe even give over their Alpha.

Spicer would be ready, and when he got Woolf in his clutches he would rip the fucker’s throat out. All that land would be his. He would be rich. Lucien had his fingers in a lot of business and didn’t need to work at all. Once he had control of the people, land, businesses, and the money, he could sit back and order his minions to do all the work. He rubbed his hands together and softly chuckled.

He would spend the rest of his life living in the lap of luxury.
